LIM DT: Theme – Occupations

Another clean and simple card challenge at Less is More this week. We’ve been set the theme of ‘occupations’. I trawled through my stash and decided to go with the occupation of ‘gardener’… It wasn’t that tricky to choose as I only had one set of stamps that were suitable! Here’s my card:

gardening occupations card

I stamped the gloves first onto coated card stock before masking and stamping the watering can over the top. I used water-based ink so that it wouldn’t bleed with the alcohol markers. It took two goes to line things up properly, but I think I got it. Coloured with ProMarkers.

Used for this occupations-themed card

  • Ryman 200gsm bright white coated card
  • Memento inkpad: Tuxedo Black
  • Art Impressions stamps (probably over a decade in age)
  • Winsor & Newton ProMarkers:
    • Greys: Flexmarkers Blue Grey 1-4, Cool Grey 5
    • Gloves: Forest Green / Tan / Cinnamon / Chestnut
    • Outline: Powder Blue
  • Mounted on Bazzill cardstock

  1. Sweet card, and great masking. I thought that was a complete stamp! Thanks for your visit to my blog, and the heads up about too many layers for LIM. Argh! CAS is hard. I’ve made another attempt to pare it down this week.
