Craft Label DT: Butterfly Kisses Cards II

The thing with a 6×6″ paper pad is that when you’re using the papers to make cards, the pad doesn’t last very long – go with the 12×12″ pad! This also gives you the opportunity to do scrapbook layouts. The paper pad, stamps and embellishments I have revisited are from Dovecraft – Butterfly Kisses – available from Craft Label. As well as the paper pad and embellishments, I used two coordinating Distress Oxide colours to stamp with: Dusty Concord and Bundled Sage. Top tip: give the clear stamps a good wash before first use to remove the manufacturing film that can cause the ink to bead up rather than lay flat.

One layer card time at Less is More with a diamonds theme. This is what it says, with no die cuts, embellishments, and all completed on the folded cardstock. It’s harder than it seems and today’s example was the third time I tried the same technique!

Craft Label DT: Butterfly Kisses Cards

The brand new papercraft and embellishments set from Craft Label and Dovecraft is ‘Butterfly Kisses’. The palette is green, purple and pink with some of the papers glittered and silvered. There are floral (roses) and geometric patterns, and of course, there are butterflies galore. There are three paper pad sizes: 6×6″, 8×8″ and 12×12″. The embellishments include mini-pegs, painted toppers, holographic butterflies, fabric brads, dies, clear stamps and resin roses.
