Ok, so this latest challenge from Less is More is going to cause all sorts of consternation as it is notoriously difficult to photograph glittery things. I’ve tried multiple light sources, but still haven’t managed to avoid shadows or overexposure. So, it’s left up to you to imagine the sparkle in these two cards!
For the first, I used 3mm wide ultra tacky double-sided tape to run lines across the card before rubbing in DecoArt Glamour Dust crystal glitter. I wonder if I might have had more sparkle if I hadn’t rubbed the glitter flat, but I was worried that I would have glitter falling off (there’s nothing worse) if I didn’t pat it down. Add a sentiment (this one is my own design) stamped in Jet Black archival ink.
For the second, I used a shed-free glitter card in silver and punched out the circles. I then cut out the paper circles on my electronic cutting machine (Silhouette Cameo), with the writing also completed on the machine with a sketch pen. Finally, I stamped the snowflake in Watering Can archival ink before gluing everything down onto kraft cardstock.
I struggle with the photography of sparkly items too, but you’ve a cracking couple of DT makes there

I love your designs, and I always love Kraft and white. Wonderful sparkly makes for our challenge. The glitter comment made me giggle thinking about how hard it is to clean it up when it goes awry!
