LIM DT: Use a tag

It’s recipe time at Less is More, and your ingredient is ‘a tag’. Just make a clean and simple card featuring a tag, upload it to your blog and share the link over at the challenge blog. I’ve made this card for inspiration as part of the design team:

tag on kraft card blank

Pretty quick card to make: I stamped the tag in archival ink as I planned to use water-based stains over the top. Spritz with Distress Stains and dry, repeat as desired adding extra round the edges with a paintbrush. Once all your layers are dry, add water drops and dab before drying. Add more Distress Stain in a deeper shade using a paintbrush to the tag hole reinforcer. Ink the edges with Distres Ink. Finally, tie to a kraft card blank with jute. For a clean and simple card, we’re looking for plenty of white space – but it doesn’t have to be white, just empty.

Used in this card

  • Stampendous cling rubber stamp: Small Tag [CRM265]
  • Ranger archival ink: Jet Black
  • Ranger / Tim Holtz Distress Stains: Antique Linen / Ground Espresso
  • Ranger / Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Pumice Stone
  • Sentiment by Creative Expressions
  • 5×7″ card blank
