It’s challenge time again at Less Is More, and the theme this time is ‘borders’. Now then… I know I have a stamp set of numerous borders. Could I find it? Nope. However, while I was trawling through my stamps, I found a couple that I thought would work as a border and sentiment, so here’s my DT card:
I chose to do just the one border, stamping the music score in Potted Soil archival ink. A quick heat set followed before using Old Paper distress ink to emphasise the edge. A spritz of water and blot before heat setting finished off the old paper effect. Then it was just a matter of stamping the sentiment, trimming and mounting for the final card.
I love the way you blended over that wonderful sheet music border. Looks very vintage, and the graphic look of the sentiment is a nice compliment to it.
Love the aging treatment on the music border and the sentiment is perfect for it.

Old Paper is a colour I never reach for but you may have just changed my opinion here, I love the way you’ve gently faded it out, and it’s perfect for this theme x
You made me laugh Neil. How many times do we know we have the perfect stamps for a challenge or DT make ……somewhere! I bet you find them in a week’s time. Anyway, your card is very stylish. The subtle blending behind the music score makes all the difference and sets it off so well. I love it. xx
Perfect! I love the distress colour you chose for your musical border xx
