Fancy a book of tangle patterns?

Encouraged by my recent publication, I have spent most of the last three days typesetting a book with 112 of my tangle patterns in ready for my Zentangle Inspired Art workshop next weekend. I think it’s turned out rather well… which got me to thinking – would anyone else be interested in a copy (especially since several loyal followers have requested such!)?

Here’s a sample page:
_Book_Page_06As you can see, it’s mainly the information already published on my Tangle Pattern Gallery and blogs, but all in one place with a handy cross reference. The patterns are arranged alphabetically, with a gallery/quick reference at the back. There is a CD wallet attached to the back cover to keep tiles in, and is wire bound so that it lies flat when open, and also has room within the wire-o to keep your pen handy. It is A5 in size and printed in full colour, with a total of 66 pages (112 patterns) and stiff glossy cover.

UPDATE 25-FEB-14:
For those requesting an e-version…
I have a formatted PDF version which is designed to print onto A5 paper and get wire bound as well as being useable on most [colour] devices. This is available for £3.50 and payable through a PayPal – you can pay in your own currency subject to PayPal conversion rate. Once payment is complete, you will be emailed a link (active for 48 hours) to the file which you can then download. This will be sent to the email address you use for PayPal. Please do not share the file with anyone else – sharing deprives me of a much-needed income and is against copyright law. Please note that on greyscale screens, e.g. non-colour e-book readers, the formatting means that the book does not show up well.

By clicking on the ‘Buy PDF Now’ button, you acknowledge that you are not entitled to cancel the order or receive a refund (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 – digital downloads).

NOTE FOR IPAD USERS:
Please note: downloads direct to iOS devices (iPad/iPhone) will not work. To see the file on these devices, you will need to download on your desktop and then transfer the file to the device using iTunes.

UPDATE 16-JAN-15:
IF YOU ARE IN THE EU (non-UK), this e-book will be affected by the new EU VAT rules for digital services.
This means that from this date if you are in the European Union anywhere but the UK I can only provide you with a hard copy version or a personally sent link. Please request a copy via the ‘all other destinations’ heading below stating whether you would like a hard or download copy.

Hard copy versions:
I’ve done a weigh in and these are the revised (Jan 2016) inclusive hard copy prices (per book) – click on the correct button to purchase your copy.

For UK destinations:
First class: total cost £7.50 UK1st
Recorded delivery: total cost £8.50 UKRec

For US destinations, airmail small packet: total cost US$25 USAir

For all other destinations, please use this link to request your copy/copies – please state your full address include. I will then send you a PayPal money request by email taking into account the postage costs to your country.

There may be a small delay as I am personally printing and binding the books! If you’d like them personalised, then please pop your request in the email!

    • As stated, US price roughly $8 – the e-version hopefully would be slightly cheaper and obviously wouldn’t incur p&p. Which reader do you use?

    • I would like a book of your patterns. I use them all the time , thanks. Please let me know what I need to do in order to get in bound version.

  1. Wow Neil it would be great to have one. I like your tangles and it certainly would be great to have them all in one place. Depending on how much the costs are for sending it to the netherlands I might prefer the e-book version.

  2. I love e-books and would be far more likely to purchase that than a bound copy and pay for unnecessary shipping and handling. Just sayin’.

  3. I would be very interested. Have had great luck with ebooks. I don’t use any particular ereader- just whatever the publisher is using.

  4. e-book or pdf file would be fantastic – no S&H – yeah that would be really nice

  5. I would like to have both hard copy and an e-book copy. I use iBooks and Kindle.

  6. Would def be interested. I use a Kindle on my IPad. I taught my first class today and I brought your quilt along that I won from your blog. Everyone was AMAZED by your tangles on fabric! Thanks for sharing!!!!

  7. Oooooo id be really interested but wpuld depend on postage costs. The estimated price is brilliant x

    • Thank you for your interest – please refer to the updated info on the original post and follow the link there to order a PDF version – or hang on for a Kindle version.

  8. I would be interested in a copy, PDF would be great, or on a disc postage and packing can`t be that much

  9. I think what you have produced is absolutely great. But I have been such a big fan of yours, I have all your Tangle patterns all neatly bound in a 3 ring binder. Good luck with your endeavors.

    Best of luck,

    Marguerite
