In readiness for my next Wow! Embossing Powders project, I’ve added a new section to my blog to hold a library of templates that I have used over the years. The first to appear are a self-closing box and base that I designed to be made from a sheet of A4 in acetate, though it would work well enough in card too. Please have a peek, using the link on the toolbar under the blog title, and let me know if I need to add any assembly instructions!
Thanks Neil for your genoristy.
Oops I can’t spell. I meant generosity.
Thank you Neil!
You’re welcome 🙂
Thanks so much for adding a templates section. Can’t wait to see each new addition.
I´ve been going through your site here, and tryed to find somewhere it showed how you would assemble the base here, as I just can´t get my brain turned for it, I must admit, so please help me?? I have made the box easily without any problems, but just can´t see what use the base have or how I make it???
But thanks sooo much for the templates here anyway.
Sorry you weren’t able to follow the links which take you here:

Hope that helps!
Hi thanks for this, but it wasn´t this part, which I call the box, but the other sheet with the base on, that I couldn´t find out about??? I just can´t see, how it´s used with this box here, but it says on it, that it´s the base for this box???
Sorry I´m such a pain LOL.
Have a great week-end.
Cut out one of of the bases and stick it down to the bottom of the inside. There are several on the sheet as I was making many boxes at once. It provides extra support and stops the base whorls unravelling.
Okay then I better understand it, sorryI thought it was some kind of base, I had to fold and set it up on he he he, but thanks soo much for your patience and answer ha ha ha
Have a great week-end.
