I’d be surprised if a pattern resembling this one hasn’t been done before, but I have developed the steps without reference to it if it’s out there! The pattern is based on a Persian stucco border pattern from the 10th century.

Sandy Bartholomew has done something very similar that she called Pollen. It’s tricky isn’t it? You come up with a pattern and think, “Surely someone has thought of this before.” 🙂
