Craft Label has released their Christmas goodies, and one part of the bumper crop is the Dovecraft Premium ‘Winter Wonderland’ collection. There’s premium paper pads, decoupage pad, clear stamps, embellishments, washi tape, ribbons and gift tags in a blue and silver colour scheme. I’ve used some of the elements to put together this 12×12″ scrapbook layout:
I’ve three more cards to share, this time using the First Edition Paper pack ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’, available from Craft Label. The 12×12″ pad features 48 sheets, 16 designs, with some in canvas effect paper, some with glitter or foil and about half are double-sided. The paper is a good 200gsm weight and printed with soy ink. Illustrations include drummers drumming, partridges in pear trees, candy canes and of course, the obligatory fiiiiivvvvee gooooollllllddd rings. I’m on a roll! Today’s make is an art journal page featuring the new First Edition Deco Maché decoupage paper in the Modern Marks design. I decided to augment the marks and colour matched the marks to Distress Paint colours (listed below). The paper behaved itself today – I used less of the glue and the wrinkles were kept to a minimum as a result. It’s certainly a lot harder to work with a sheet rather than pieces, so bear this in mind. Time-lapse video below.
