Another Less is More challenge blog design team post… I had to go very deep into my stash to find some baby-themed stamps, but after almost getting lost in a drawer I managed to look out three suitable images. All have been stamped on paper for acrylics as I couldn’t immediately lay my hands on watercolour paper. I then cut out the images and stuck them onto the cards.
BABY boy
- Inked with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide
- Matting used the ink pad direct to paper as a stamp
- Hero Arts: Baby Boy C3845 from 2006
Teddy
- Stamped with Salty Ocean Distress Ink
- Colour pulled in from stamped image with water brush pen
- Rubbadubbadoo stamp from 2004
Elephant
- Stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink
- Colour pulled in from stamped image with water brush pen
- Extra colour from swiping brush through ink stamped onto a worksheet
- Woodware: Baby Patch Elephant FRS118
It was a tough choice as to which I would feature as the design team member post. I thought the ‘baby boy’ was just a little too simple, though was the most striking.
Your digging expedition yielded 3 great images and 3 wonderful CAS creations for our challenge. Love the way you pulled the Distress Ink with water.
You cards suggest that stamps are like fashion: it’s an eternal restart ! Even though they’re not brand new ones, these three stamps make adorable baby cards. I also still have some in a drawer too (but which looks shallower than yours 😄).
