This evening’s Bible Journaling Session used verses loosely based on the theme of ‘renewed connection’. I don’t do New Year’s resolutions, but even so, this is a great aim to consider for the year. Alongside coming to the monthly sessions as well, of course…

Illustration notes

As normal, I have used Adobe Illustrator to design the templates to easily produce digital versions for download. Microsoft Designer takes some prompting to help produce the illustrations that are in my head, but we get there in the end…

For colour combos, I have used the second Color Cube box from Sarah Renae Clark, matching the colour cues to the closest Polychromos pencils. I’ve also started using the app ‘Colored Pencil Picker’ which helps pick matching colours to an uploaded pic as well as giving suggestions as to layering colours to get the ideal blend. I find this method helps jolt me out of my ‘go to’ schemes.
