Various things have got in the way of finishing the Online Card Class: Extraordinary Embossing Folders. Eventually, I got annoyed moving the kit from one end of the studio to the other and decided to get on with the course again, if only to be able to put everything away! Day 3 combines dry embossing with dies. Again, I’ve made use of what I have to emulate the course makes and have benefitted from the loan of kit from one of my valued Studio guests.
Using an integrated die with an embossing folder helps a quicker make. However, the large aperture of this set makes it more difficult to see the shaker bits ‘n’ pieces, so I have laid the card down for the pics. For the wreath, I traced through the die cut and then coloured the backing card with ProMarkers.

The second technique called for an embossed cut-out. Handily, I have an embossing-folder-die combo to make the butterfly. A loaned 6×6″ embossing folder allowed me to emboss the card blank directly.
