For the first Bible Journaling Session of 2024, we’re having a colour challenge. All of us have our favourite colours that we reach for… Sometimes we can get stuck choosing new palettes and our work becomes a little samey. During our session, we will use different colour palettes to try and break out of our tonal rut. Here are my samples – carry on reading to see the colour palettes I used.
My colour palette inspiration
In order, all from @designseeds over on Instagram.
I tried to match colours with my Polychromos pencils, bearing in mind the poor colour reproduction of my laser printer. In the main, the colour families were fairly close and certainly used pencils that showed little wear up to now!
The session is on Monday, 15th January and newcomers are welcome. It costs £5 to attend, starts at 7:30 pm and is held at The Studio, Leicester. Contact me for more details and to book your place.
If you cannot attend, but would still like to complete your own version of the verses and colour challenge, the template is available for download, for free, here.
