It’s a relatively easy challenge over at Less is More this week – use two or more colours from a traditional colour wheel. I love the contrast that complementary colours bring, so have stuck with just purple/violet and yellow for my colour scheme:
I used a layering stencil to add the rays – blend ink through one side, flip it over and line it up before stencilling the second colour. I added extra layers of colour toward the middle to give the rays a little depth as they dived under the sentiment.
Used in this card
- Tim Holtz / Stampers Anonymous layering stencil [THMS126]
- Ranger / Tim Holtz distress ink: Wilted Violet / Mustard Seed
- Sentiment stamp: home made
- Ranger Archival Ink: Majestic Violet
Fabulous color choices and I love the way you used them so brilliantly.
Wonderful vibrant card using these great colours Neil. Great card.
