LIM DT: Emboss

With Less is More setting a new challenge this week, there’s some healthy ambiguity about the recipe given. We’re asked to emboss… The ambiguity is whether to heat emboss or dry emboss? I went with the latter to make this wedding card:

emboss your wedding cards

White-on-white is classic for a wedding card, but actually quite tricky to photograph, so apologies for the quality of the pic. I also need to cut my edges with a sharper blade as they’re a little fuzzy. I’ve put the sentiment over the embossing to keep the one third/two thirds nominal white space for a clean and simple card. I would have put it above had not this been the case.

Used to emboss this card

  • Sizzix Big Shot machine
  • The embossing folder is unmarked
  • Sentiment panel by Craftwork Cards (discontinued)
  • Brad is from my stash – it’s been so long I can’t remember the manufacturer
