A fortnight has passed and it’s time for another clean and simple card challenge over at Less is More. This time, it’s a colour theme and they’ve chosen a classic combo of pink and gold. It’s not a one layer card this time, so I’ve taken advantage of that by adding my elements on foam pads to give a little height and extra interest:
I started by stamping the images with Versamark ink before heat embossing with metallic gold. I added the pink using Derwent Inktense watercolours and found the embossing resisted the water-based ink marvellously. I cut out and mounted the panels to finish.
Used for this pink and gold card
- Stampers Anonymous cling rubber stamps: Classics #19 [SCF019]
- WOW! Embossing Powder: Metallic Gold Rich super fine
- Versamark ink pad
- Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Studio Set
Wonderful make, Neil. Pink and gold is such a wonderful combo and I love the way you used it. The raised panels are fab.
