Time for another look at the First Edition North Star paper pad from Craft Label. As well as the glittered design, two foil designs and two pearlescent designs, half the pad is double-sided as well. It’s a 200gsm paper, so a decent weight for card making and also making 3D projects as well. Today, I used the grey-green papers which accompany the blue-silver colour scheme in the pad.
Firstly, apologies for the photography – it was difficult to light the cards well as today was so dingy outside there wasn’t good ambient light. And the silver foiling on the pad kinda blew out the highlights. Hopefully, though, you will have a good enough impression to make your own.
Two of the cards are on 7″ square cards to take full advantage of the 6×6″ paper pad I was given to work with. The foiled star background was to be on the same cardstock, but I think I cut something wonky and it got trimmed down for a 6×6″ card instead. Happily, Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink colour is almost a perfect match for the colour scheme, so I used that on the two larger cards. The smaller uses heat embossed sentiment in silver (again, hard to pick up on the photo).
The First Edition North Star paper pad is available from Craft Label in three sizes: 6×6″, 8×8″ and 12×12″.
