Here are some more Bible journaling pages I’ve recently completed. Continue reading for the button to press if you would like to download the outlines for your own use – it’s free!
I wasn’t too happy with the final page. There was another journal entry on the reverse of the page, so I decided to add a coat of white gesso before I started on the illustration. Unfortunately, it, of course, was opaque and I could no longer trace the outlines. Then I added the pencil highlights over the handwritten text making the black less so, requiring another go over with the black pen to sharpen it up again. Then I smudged the ink at the bottom. Not one of my finest pieces, but I thought I would share it none-the-less.

I think you are very hard on yourself, Neil ….. I’m enjoying your Bible journalling – and had to look for the smudge, which I’d never have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it!
It’s one of those things – when you’re working on it closely, you notice the small things… Thanks for the vote of confidence though 🙂
