These floral panels from Creative Expressions are so useful for making cards full of colour and the included sentiments give flexibility in how you can use the cards you make. This week I’ve included two summery panels, with a sentiment designed to remind me in the depths of winter murk of these glorious days of sunshine!
You will need:
Creative Expressions Singles Stamps: Desert Daisies / Anemone Planter
Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Drawing Inks:
Jewels / Soft Velvet / Natures Essentials / Garden Twist
Cosmic Shimmer Misting Ink Spray: Sunflower
Cosmic Shimmer Specialist Acrylic Glue
Foundations A4 Card: Coconut White / Deep Cocoa
Ranger Archival Ink Pad: Jet Black
- Stamp the three images on to Coconut White card using the Jet Black Archival Ink. Briefly heat set with a heat tool to ensure fully waterproof.
- Start painting the images using the Acrylic Drawing Ink and the handy applicator brush in the bottle: Leaves – Meadow Lime, Flowers – Magenta Flame / Golden Glow, Sky – Blue Lace, Ground – Soft Moss, Borders – Chestnut Brown / Black Night, Flower Shadows – Blue Cotton, Sun – Sunflower misting ink (apply with a brush).
- Allow to dry before matting onto Deep Cocoa card using the Cosmic Shimmer Glue and then onto the card using foam pads.
This is a lovely bright cheerful stamp beautifully coloured in by you. This is what I’d like to do more of…..it’s just getting the mojo started! I get a lot of inspiration from Sue Wilson but thanks to this blog hop it has given me a chance to come across a few more crafting blogs that I can get inspiration from. As it’s coming up to Christmas (scary!) I need all the inspiration I can get! Thank you for this little ray of sunshine that would cheer anybody up! xx Karen xx (magpie)
This looks almost like stained glass. Really pretty.
