It’s my last play (for now…) for this month’s featured stamps from Creative Expressions. I’ve combined the foliage components with embossed centres from one of the Henna collection to make a very passable impression of a passion flower for this summery card.

Creative Expressions Singles Stamps: Botanical Spray / Ivy Corner / Henna Petals
Creative Expressions Singles Stamp Set: Crystal Cut
Cosmic Shimmer Coloured Pearlescent PVA: Vintage Plum
Cosmic Shimmer Specialist Acrylic Glue
Cosmic Shimmer Detail Embossing Powder: True White
Foundations A4 Card: Coconut White / Mauve / Amethyst / Rich Plum
Ranger Perfect Medium Ink Pad: Clear
Ranger Distress Ink Pads: Mowed Lawn / Peeled Paint

1. Start by making a circle of Vintage Plum pearl drops on your card stock – I didn’t… and it was tricky adding after all the rest! Try alternating a dot with a gap, allow to dry, and then fill in the gaps with a second round. This helps stop the wet drops running together.
2. Meanwhile, stamp the Botanical Spray in Mowed Lawn and Ivy Corner in Peeled Paint a couple of times each onto Coconut White card. Dry and then cut out some of the sprigs. Mount onto the card (once pearl drop are dry!) with foam pad in the centre and then gluing the fronds to the card on the outskirts.
3. Inking just the centre of the Henna Petals stamp with the Perfect Medium, stamp onto the three purple card sheets three times. Cover with the Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder, tap off the excess and heat set. Cut out the largest flower from the Mauve card, the centre circle from the Amethyst, and the spiral from the Rich Plum. Shape the petals slightly and layer using foam pads. Stick onto your fronds with Cosmic Shimmer Glue.
4. Finally, stamp the sentiment from the Crystal Cut stamp set onto the Rich Plum card with Perfect Medium and emboss as above. Mat onto the Amethyst and Mauve card stock in turn using the Cosmic Shimmer Glue. Stick onto the card with the same glue.
