I’ll post feedback I’ve received about workshops/other services originating from The Studio here. All comments are published with the author’s permission, with my thanks:

about Come & Craft/Stashbuster Clinic on 29th July 2014:
I was first introduced to Neil and his amazing art studio by a friend. It has become a calm and creative oasis in the midst of a busy working week. The open craft sessions are a fantastic way to either do a set project you have in mind, or to take advantage of Neil’s vast creative knowledge and resources. If you’re not sure what you want to do, don’t worry – Neil will guide you through different processes until you hit on something you want to do more of. I have also attended a Saturday workshop on a set subject. It was great! It’s on a book and turn up basis and all the materials you need are ready and waiting for you. Neil goes at a steady pace so you don’t feel rushed and you go home with a brilliant end result and new ideas. I would encourage anyone who wants to explore their creative side to come along and have a go. You will be assured a warm welcome by all, especially Charlie and Esther, the dogs.

Thanks very much for a brilliant day on Saturday.  I really enjoyed the class and I just know I’m going to get so much more use out of my Promarkers now. Hopefully we’ll make it over again for another course at some point 🙂

about Papercraft Dressform Template (as seen on Craftwork Cards shows)
The template arrived on Tuesday, thank you for sending it out so quickly, and the torsos came on Wednesday.  Needless to say I have been playing as much as I can and attach a document with photos of my attempts. I just loved your template, easy to use and so straightforward (but as you warned, lots of creasing and folding).  Dress number two landed up in the bin after a few hours messing with it – my own fault as I added lace around the neck which was too thick and the bodice no longer fitted!!

    • Any good art or office supplies store should have it as it’s used for presentation backing board. Alternatively build up the thickness using several pieces of cardboard.
